Today was Austin's baptism. He turned 8 back in July, but we had been working on some issues before he was ready (read: stealing every piece of candy in sight, no matter where he was) and we decided he was finally ready to take the plunge - literally. It was a stake baptism, but the only ones there from our ward were Austin and a girl from his class, so that was nice. My family wasn't able to come out, but I did have Robyn and Joe there. Emily also came, and my ex's family came (minus him, of course). It was nice to have everyone there. It was a special day and it was nice to have everyone back to the house for lunch. It turned out that today was the first snowfall of the year, but not a lot. Still it was pretty exciting to the kids. I am proud of Austin that he made the decision that he wanted to be baptized. Great day. 3 down, 3 to go. :)
